((Okay.. LOL! I found that funny.. but did she really mean it? lol))
Contessa looked down at the pathetic female that was at her feet. "Get up Raven. Be a Riddle, no Riddle gets on their knees to beg. You know that." She wasn't buying this whole, "oh my gosh! don't throw me out" thing, and her expressions spoke her thoughts.

((Riyan doesn't like the outside world much, and yes, she would do anything to stay in that house. She does have her own reasons for it, but she does mean it.))
Riyan sat on her knees and stared up at her cousin. "But Liesel, you said it yourself, I'm a shame to the Riddle line. Please, cousin, I promise I will do as you wish and never cross you again if you will only promise to let me stay in return, even if I am to be given the smallest room in the house. Please."

(( ah.. okay.. jw))
"You don't have to be a shame, and honest, I wish you not to be a shame, if that's possible, and for my own reason, which will not be questioned. You may stay, but.. cross my path or Salavdor's or Macaria's in a wrong way, and you can say 'adios.' Understood? Now get up, and go on about your buisness." Contessa said, and went off, but stopped, and turned back to Riyan. "Oh, and one last thing. More of a favor I ask of you, which I probably will never ask again. Mind if I ask you to train me in the art of the dagger and sword? Or do you only know the art of dagger?"

She stood when she was told too. "Thank you, Liesel, for this honor. I promise never to cross your path, or that of Salvador and Macaria."
"Oh, and one last thing. More of a favor I ask of you, which I probably will never ask again. Mind if I ask you to train me in the art of the dagger and sword? Or do you only know the art of dagger?"]/b]
She grinned, clearly from this honor being bestowed upon her. "I would gladly teach you all I know. I am better versed in the dagger, but I am well enough along with the sword. It would be an honor." Once again she waited to be dismissed, her grin turning to a less-seen smile.

Contessa gave a little grin, and nodded. She gave a look that said to run along, maybe Riyan wasn't so bad. That could just be because Riyan had just been gravelling at her feet, but maybe Contessa would ask Riyan to help her along with the other two she was working with.

Once in her room, Riyan glared at Meera. Are you happy now? I'm gaining their trust. Now I just have to keep it. Hopefully that isn't too hard. Then again. you never know.
She sighed to herself. Perhaps she should help Tessa with Salvador. Once the thought was in her mind, it spread until she had a plan. She would wait until later that night, when everyone was sure to be in their rooms, to approach Tessa with it.

Day had grown to night, and as usual Contessa was lying on the couch out in the living room downstairs from the bedrooms. Her hand lay at her forehand, massaging her temples with her ring finger and thumb. She sighed, and sat up when she felt someone's prresence. "Which Riddle is it that has made their auora known?"

Riyan still knocked lightly on the door before stepping in. "I'm sorry to disturb you, cousin. I merely had a.... a proposition for you, to make up for earlier mistakes I have made on your part. I feel even a sincere apology isn't enough."

"Come out with it.." she said, waiting to hear what Riyan had to say.

Not one to ignore an order, she did. "I've noticed that you seem to be going after Salvador more than he comes to you. I was wondering if you would want my help in changing that. I have learned.... many ways, to tempt the men you want into coming to you."

"All right, I want to hear 'em. Though I don't think I need to have Salvador come to me more than he already does." Contessa said.

Riyan grinned at that, a mischevious glint in her eyes. "Oh, but every woman should enjoy hearing the man she has chosen begging to be allowed at least into her presence. With a few tricks of mine and many of yours, you could order him to the moon and he would do so. I don't recommend it, though. It takes a long time to get to the moon." She seemed to dwell on this thought for a moment before turning her attention to the task at hand. "First of all, do you happen to know his favorite scent?"

"If I'm not mistaken, it's my scent." she replied, and motioned for Riyan to take a seat next to her as she moved her feet to the floor.

She gave a smile at that. "Yes, that is true cousin. However, has he ever commented on certain perfumes you might wear, a shampoo....." She graciously accepted the seat while keeping eye contact with her cousin.

"Actually, no.. He hasn't. The only thing I guess he's ever talked about it the scent of a black rose." Contessa said, and pointed over to the enterance hallway, now that the living room door had been left ajar. In the hallway, the light was on, and off to the right underneath a mirror was a end table with a black rose in a crystal vase.
