It was a sunny day, a nice day to get out of the house and take a walk. That was exactally what Lance Potter had in mind. He quickly got dressed in a pair of kaki board shorts and a white t-shirt. Slipping on his black flip-flops he headed out the door of his house. He soon came across the Finch-Fletchley home.

Ashley Finch-Fletchley had a muggle-grandma who lived in muggle-london. That meant that she couldn't fly into her grandma's town and she couldn't floo in because they her grandma didn't have a fireplace. That meant she ahd to drive there when her mother told her to take some home-made cookies over and rake their lawn. It also meant she had to drive back. So, she was on her way back that she was pulling into her driveway when her blended fruit drink tipped over. She tried to catch it and looked up just in time to slam on the breaks. The car skidded to a halt only a foot before it would have hit a young boy who was walking across.
At first she was like a deer in the headlights. She un did her seatbelt and opened the door, hopping out of the car. "Oh my God, I'm so sorry!" was the only thing she could think to say.

Lance quickly had taken notice to the car and jumped back a little. "Uh....." he stared, speechless.

For a second the only sound was the "bing... bing... bing... bing" that the door was making letting her know that the door was ajar while the car was running. She put her hand over her mouth in worry and embarassment. "Are you ok? I didn't get you, did I?"

Lance shook his head,"Uh... I'm okay." He still didn't know what to say, he just knew he could have been pinned against something because of the car. He didn't know whether to feel mad or not.

(( is he a good quidditch player on his team? and what position does he play? jw ))
Ashley ran the same hand through her hair shakily. The whole incident had given her the shakes. She had almost killed some one. And quite frankly, it bothered her quite a bit. "Are you sure? I'm so sorry. I'm never going to drive again. Did you want some tea?"

Ashley hadn't really thought when she had offered him tea - it was something her mom always gave her to calm her down so when he said sure, she had to think about why he said that. She remembered quickly and nodded. "Here... follow me... I can't belive I almost paralyzed the Gryffindor keeper...." she said to him, well, it was basically to herself but outloud. She, of course, recognized him. He was a really, really good keeper and they had played many matches against each other.

He followed her, still unable to put feelings together.

She led him through her front door into her house. The house was a decent size, nothing too spacious, though. There was alot of rich woods - hardwood floors, wood banisters and wood paneling in the den off to the side because that's what her parents liked. She led him to the kitchen where she magicked a teapot to fill itself and start to boil. She turned to him, tooka deep breath to relax more and sighed. "I'm Ashley, by the way - I don't think we've ever properly met." she told him.

He sighed,"I'm Lance." He calmed down, and let the previous events fade off. "New place you've got."

(( you mean nice? lol ))
She managed a small grin, "Oh... thanks. I'm sure its nothing compared to yours." she told him truthfully. Harry Potter was probably the most famous wizard in the world - the Potters had to live in nothing short of a palace.

She nodded. "But do you live in one?" she asked, just curious and not trying to make him seem like a rich, snotty kid.

"Yes, I do. I rather have a home like yours. Not too big, but not too small. Ya know what I mean?"
