"Good boy." she said, and let him drop to the floor.
Contessa resumed her seat next to Salvador, and crossed her legs. She was planning not only to teach Macaria but Salvador of her powers as well. It was something that the dark lord wanted his choosen three to know.

Ethan fell to the floor and lay there panting for a few moments, before he picked himself up and staggered over to his bed again, dropping down onto it.
Salvador smirked, looking over at Contessa, but before he could say anything, the nurse appeared, bustling over. "Not another one?" she said, looking Salvador up and down, assessing him for damage. "Shirt," she ordered briskly, meaning for him to take it off, which he did, grumbling about it all the while. She proceeded to bandage him up, after dabbing the deep cut across the left side of his chest with a foul-smelling potion that stung like anything. Having done that, she left for a minute or two, saying that she was going to get something from her office.

Contessa rolled her eyes, and looked at Salvador,"This is probably a ridiculous question, but any better luv?" Contessa shot a look at Ethan, then looked back at Salvador. She sighed, the sooner he was healed the better she'd feel.

Ethan glared over at Contessa as she looked at him, but did nothing more.
Having hissed in pain and turned his head away when the nurse had applied the potion to his wound, Salvador now looked back at Contessa. "I think... my shoulder... has just gone numb..." he said hollowly, unmoving.
The nurse was back. And with her, she had a huge lump of chocolate, off which she began chiselling pieces with her wand and handing them to Salvador. Once he had eaten the first one or two, he paused, looking at her with his eyes slightly narrowed. "All this chocolate is going to make me fat..." he said, glancing down at the piece he had in his hand and putting it on the bedside table, his body-language suggesting that of a cat turning down food it is offered. "It'll do you the world of good, now eat it," ordered the nurse. "I don't want to," he replied flatly. "Sit back on that bed, and eat the chocolate," she said firmly, giving him a stern glare that did not end until he had shuffled backwards so that he was leaning back against the pillows with his legs up on the bed and eating the piece of chocolate he had just set down. "You look like you could do with some too, dear," the nurse added with a warm smile, her voice softening considerably as she turned to Contessa, to whom she also handed a piece of chocolate before setting the large chunk on the bedside table. "Now, when I come back," she said to Salvador, again sternly, "I expect it to be gone. Understand?" And she bustled off to check on Ethan's bandages before heading back into her office. Salvador wrinkled his nose at the chocolate - hating to admit that it was actually making him feel a lot better - and mimicked the nurse's nagging in behaviour reminiscent of that of a small child.

Contess took th chocolate that was handed to her, and just stared at it. She wasn't one for sweets, thought liked most but chocolate. She was allergic to chocolate to admit the truth. "Oookay. I'm not eating it... Allergic." she said, tossing the piece she was give to the table where the rest was.

Salvador watched the nurse's retreating back, munching on the chocolate he had been given. Though he didn't like to admit it, he loved the stuff, and couldn't get enough of it, though didn't eat much of it normally because of his paranoia that he was going to put on weight and end up 'fat'. He swallowed his mouthful and reached across for the piece that Contessa had just turned down.
"Why's she so nice to you?" he asked, giving a small smile of amusement, "She's horrible to me..." That wasn't entirely true, though the nurse's brisk treatment of him might have had something to do with the fact that he had once called her a 'stupid, fat old cow' without realising that she had been standing right beind him as he had said it. But that had been in his younger years, when he had been more of a spoilt brat. He threw the piece of chocolate into the air and caught it in his mouth, continuing to munch it happily. He was like a child, really, when it came to sweets - they made him happy, greatly improving his mood - especially chocolate - and too much sugar... well, made him hyper, if that word could ever be associated with him.

Contessa shrugged, and bent her head down to watch herself mess with her fingernails. They were growing again, all expression faded from her face. "I don't know." Contessa said simply, and the truth was she'd been so mean to the nurse over the past 6 years, and she didn't know why the nurse was so nice to her.

Salvador sat up a bit more and shuffled a little closer to Contessa on the bed, but because she was sitting on the edge, and he on the middle, he ended up behind her, and leant over, nuzzling his head in her neck - as he did so, his eyes darted up to Ethan for the briefest moment, but soon went back to Contessa. "Maybe she's just prejudiced," he mumbled quietly with a small smile, not being entirely serious. The nurse had been right, though - the chocolate had done him the world of good.

She grinned to herself, and shrugged at his reply. Then lightly laughed as she found it funny, if it were to be true. "Who cares..." she finally said, looking over at Ethan. Contessa gave an evil smile, then looked away. She turned her head so that she could look at Salvador when he came up from nuzzling her neck.

He closed his eyes briefly, planted a light kiss at the base of her neck by her shoulder, and then sat up again, looking at Contessa and finding her face close to his.

She smirked at him, and lightly kissed him. "You think she'll let your leave?" she asked, meaning the nurse.

Salvador smirked too as she kissed him, then at her question, looked down at his shoulder and ran his fingers over the bandage. "I hope so," he said. There were a few moments' pause, then he picked up his shirt and started to pull it on, buttoning it up. "Well.. if she doesn't - I'm leaving anyway."

He gave her a small smile in return, pulling his waistcoat back on and re-tying his cravat about his neck, tucking it in to the top of his waistcoat. Then came the jacket, and he wished that there was a mirror so that he could check his appearance. He did still feel a little shaky, but the chocolate would no doubt see to that in a few minutes. Thinking on this, he ate another piece, just for good measure.
"Going somewhere, Mr DeWinter?" inquired a voice, and he looked up to see the nurse again, standing a few feet away. She was looking pointedly at the sizeable amount of chocolate still left on the bed-side table. "Yes," he replied, getting to his feet and bringing himself up to his full height of six feet so that he was able to look down at her, "I have decided to leave. Thank you for your-" "Oh have you now?" The nurse raised her eyebrows, cutting him short. She was a large, rotund woman who owned a commanding presence. "I seem to remember telling you you weren't going anywhere unless you finished that chocolate." Salvador scowled. "Well I'm not going to - and you can't force me," he retorted softly, sweeping past her and looking back for Contessa. With a curt "Good day" he had left the Hospital Wing.

Contessa left without saying anything to the nurse. She hurried to catch up with Salvador.
