Odette turned her gaze to Chole and Jackson, she began her way over there. But stopped when she saw another Slytherin 7th year, Jake Higgs, pull the one boy off of Miss Goyle. She hurried over, there would be no fighting. She made sure they knew she was watching them, by giving them a warning of being suspend if something was to happen, such as a fight.
Once the headmistress walked away Chole rolled her eyes, she then shot a look a Jake. "What are you doing Jake?" she asked, thinking it was a bit rude that he was interupting her way of having a good time. Jackson made Jake let go of him,"Back off." Chole moved in between the two, she wasn't about to let Jake hit her "date."
Kendall held the platter with a smile,"There's nothing like a fairy with a cut off head on a platter." She laughed lightly, trying to make a cheerful statement.
Woody grinned as he danced with Amber. "You're very good on your feet. Have you had lessons?"
Jacob smiled, and lifted up the eye piece of the helmet. "It's alright. I've had lessons. My mother sent me to lessons when I was younger, I just happened to remember how to do so. And, I didn't feel like going with another Slytherin 'babe' as you call it."
Odette walked back over to her two campions. "We're going to have to keep an eye on those three. But, in the mean time. That's have a little fun ourselves, eh?"

Dylan's gaze followed that of both Odette and Eryn. Having been about to do the same thing himself, he watched as Odette moved over to Chole, Jake and Jackson - he would have thought that any 'fights' would be between Slytherin and other houses, not among the Slytherins themselves.
"Mm, I can see that," he said in answer to her comment about having to keep an eye on them, then took another sip of punch.
Andy laughed at what Kendall said. "So true."

Jake ignored the Headmistress; he also ignored Chole when she spoke. His attention was focused entirely on the greasy Jackson Malfoy who stood in front of him. Jake had never much liked Jackson, sure there were in the same house and year, but their personalities were so unlike each other’s.
"Back off."
“Why don’t you back off,” Jake said, pushing Jackson’s shoulder lightly with his hand, but before anything else could happen Chole stepped between them. “Get out the way,” Jake said, annoyed, to Chole, he would really like to smash the Malfoy boy’s head in on the wall right now. It was at that moment that Scarlette, having managed to pick herself up off the floor and hurry over to Jake, still wearing her heels, clamped her arms firmly around one of Jake’s. Jake managed to shake his arm free, and more irritated than before, started towards Jackson, stopping just short of trampling Chole.
"You're very good on your feet. Have you had lessons?"
Amber shook her head and smiled, “Nope… I kinda picked it up from watching other people, what about you?”
"It's alright. I've had lessons. My mother sent me to lessons when I was younger, I just happened to remember how to do so. And, I didn't feel like going with another Slytherin 'babe' as you call it."
As Jacob spoke Cammie started to feel stupid for mentally labelling him just like the rest of the male 7th years at Hogwarts. She flopped her head against his chest as they danced, in an attempt to hide the blush running up her cheeks. “Sorry,” she said, looking up at him again, smiling embarrassedly, “I didn’t mean to like insult you…”
Eryn grinned at Odette’s statement, “Cheers to that,” she said, raising her glass slightly before sipping some of the punch.

Chole's eyes widened as she saw Scarlette make her way over. Chole tried her best to hold back tears, this was the lowest thing Jake could do, to bring Scarlette as his date. Then again, she didn't blame him. It was then that Chole moved away from Jackson, Jake, and the "scum" as she thought of Scarlette, and ran out onto the bolcany of the ballroom. Jackson shrug with a light smirk,"Stupid bird.."
Woody smiled,"My mother taught me."
"You didn't, and it's all right." Jacob replied to Cammie.
Odette raised her glass as well before gulping some down. She looked about the room again. Suddenly a slow song came on. "Oh.. I love this song. I haven't danced to this since I was in my 7th year here."

Jake watched Chole go, slightly taken aback. However he was quickly brought back to his senses by Jackson.
"Stupid bird...”
Jake turned to him again, Jackson was only an inch or so shorter than himself, but much weedier, and right now Jake hated him. “Don’t you ever… ever call her that,” his voice was low and angry, just loud enough for the two 7th years to hear. To emphasis his point, Jake swung his fist at Malfoy’s head, hard. He wasn’t only taking out his hatred and annoyance at Jackson, but also the self-loathing he felt at making Chole so upset, and almost wanted Jackson to hit him back.
“My mother taught me." “Cool,” Amber said, “My mum didn’t really have time for it, her first crusade was to get all my dad’s stuff out the house, next it was to make me into the perfect daughter – you know, pink fluffy things and puffy skirts,” she stuck out her tongue, “Give me Qudditch or football any day.”
"You didn't, and it's all right."
Cammie smiled gratefully, she was glad to see Jacob’s eyes smiling. But that was all she could see of him, the helmet he was wearing was covering the rest of his face. She would have liked to see the rest of his face, but Cammie could deal with just his chocolate coloured eyes for just now.

Jackson, after processing what had happened, got back to his feet. "Fuck you and fuck your idiot bird. I'm outtie!" Jackson said and left. He'd get Jake back later, however before he left he winked at Scarlette.
Woody laughed,"How dare she do that to you. My father always wanted me to be just like him. Well, I told him off the day my parents split."
Jacob continued to smile. "So, tell me about yourself."

"Fuck you and fuck your idiot bird. I'm outtie!"
Jake glared at Jackson as he left, “Arsehole,” he muttered to himself as he slumped back into one of the chairs. Scarlette followed him over and tried to kiss him, he turned away, “Oh fuck off Scar,” he said to her. Scarlette pouted, “Fine! Fine! I’m leaving!” she turned dramatically and swept off after Jackson. Jake sighed, this ball sucked – Scarlette had even dumped him! He might as well go back to the common room.
"How dare she do that to you. My father always wanted me to be just like him. Well, I told him off the day my parents split."
Amber smiled, “What’s so wrong about being like your dad? A part from dads suck… no offence,” she said, speaking from personal experience but also wondering what Woody’s dad did for a living. She had also not know Woody’s parents had split up. She felt slightly sorry for him, but also remembered the relief she’d felt when her parents had finally gone their separate ways.
"So, tell me about yourself."
Cammie thought for a second, “Okay, like you know I’m Cammie, but everyone thinks I’m really Camilla but I’m not! I grew up around Portsmouth, with my family… I came here when I turned eleven… I’m a strict Veggie, boarding on Vegan and… since being at Hogwarts you’re the first Knight I’ve ever danced with,” she grinned cheekily, “Your turn.”

Jacob chuckled,"Well, you know I'm Jacob. I'm the eldest son of the old potions master, Severus Snape. I'm nothing like my father. I grew up like any song would in a pureblood Slytherin family, but I disapproved of most of the things that they believed in." He said to started off.
Woody smiled slightly,"Well, my father was a death eater. That's why I didn't want to be like him."
Out on the balcony, Chole sighed. She only shed one tear, and rolled her eyes. She was so pathetic. Seeing as her whole outfit was ridulous, she magically changed into the white ball gown her mother had sent it. Not only was tonight the Halloween Ball, but it was Chole's debutant ball, and her escort was... well.. Valerian Amkeira. Chole quickly did her hair, and summoned the white mask her mother told her to wear with the gown. She now looked like a Cinderella. ((http://images.hollywood.com/images/large/l_2401683.jpg)) She then entered back into the ballroom, hoping no one noticed her, but it was probably going to be hard since she stuck out like a sore thumb.

It wasn't very far into the ball when Joceline-Lee entered. She had gone with a simple costume - more of a retro-ish muggle look for fun. ( www.supermodels.nl/thelmathormarsdottir/32.jpg ). She went immediatly to the punch-bowl area because that looked like the best place to observe the dance floor from. She was nervous because she was waiting for a blind date (whome she knew very well).

Soon in came Adam, dressed in a black cloak. His face painted so that he looked like he had death upon him. He was supposed to be Lord Voldemort, but it didn't turn out as great as he would have liked it. He scanned the room, and saw a girl over at the punch ball with a head band, the only girl with one. He got a good look at who it was, and his jaw dropped.

Josy didn't see him right away. There were alot of guys who came in sinister looking outfits. She worried herself by wondering if maybe the whole thing was a joke and Adam didn't really want to meet her. She looked then, to a figure who had started to make his way towards the punch-bowl area. He looked kinda like he'd be voldemort? She wasn't sure, though, and definantly didn't recognize him. She just looked at him to see what he'd do.

Adam shook his head, and walked over. He had a grin on his face,"Josy?"

She broke into a smile and looked at Adam. It was weird because she hardly ever opened up to people and she did to this one person and now it was the first time she'd ever seen him. Well, if it isn't Adam..." she mused with her smile.

Adam grinned back, ignoring the fact that now he really knew the girl from the ballroom was the one that he held so dear in his heart. "Care to dance, luv?"

As looked into his painted face, she couldn't help but think that there was something familiar about him. She figured that maybe she ad just seen him around every-so-often and shook it off. "I'd be honored - although I wasn;t kidding when I said I didn;t dance well." she warned with a smile.
