When the sky turns dark
there is only one place to hide
Over the past five years, the known Harry Potter, friends, and enemies have grown older in a world that is constantly battling. In Potter's sixth year, Albus Dumbledore was murdered and since then the world has become a steady decline of misery. With each passing day, another murder and with each passing year, Voldermort grows more powerful.
The Ministry has begun to fail from the inside. Workers are turning against each other, hiding information that can be lethal to their race. Riots and fights break out in wizarding streets, but Rufus Scridgemore has done nothing to stop it as of recently. No one trusts the Ministry, even its own employees.
Outside patrons of the Wizarding world doubt every word they hear. The Daily Profit has become full of Ministry lies and citizens find the Quibbler to contain more truthful articles than the once highly renowned paper. Some stores have closed, but the most popular stores of Diagon Alley are still open and running even if the streets aren't nearly as populated as they were ten years ago.
Hogwarts School has become a cesspool for protests and riots. Constant fights break out between the students, yells being heard two or three floors up about the Dark Lord reigning supreme or the Order of the Phoenix taking control. Students regard each other with snubbed noses and unity between houses has completely diminished.
Will the wizarding community be able to ban together and fight against Voldermort, or will the Dark Lord rise and finally win the impending battle for the wizarding world?

Note on subplots: The subplots have been written based on the impending war. No subplots contain a definite romantic relationship or love interest between characters. This was done to allow you to follow the ship of your choosing and build the character to how you wish them to be. Also relationship history between two characters is more or less up to your own imagination.
