The Great Wizarding war against Lord Voldermort is now over. Whereas most thought it was only fought in Britain, it was actually fought all over Europe. Many prestigious institutions were ruined by the death eaters in an attempt to weaken their enemies, among these institutions was Beaubaxtons Acadmey. On a sunny late spring evening seven years ago, a trouppe of death eaters managed to fight their way onto the grounds, destroying the once beautiful school, killing several students in the process. The tradegy od the event caused the school govenors to close the school. But then Lord Voldermort was defeated. The wizarding world rejoyeced, and it was decided that it was safe to re-open the famous French wizarding school. Restored to its former beauty, Beaubaxtons now has opened its doors for the first time in twelve years. A new headmistress is in charge of the school, a young lady who most think that is incapable of the job, although those who know her know differently. She has plans to restore the school to its once and former glory and will let nothing stand in her way. Even the rumor that there are still death eaters in France. While Voldermort was captured, many of his loyal followers are still out there, lying low and waiting for their chance to strike. While there is fear amongst the students, the staff is determined to run the school the way it once was: peacefully, elegantly, beautifully. A task that will by no means be easy to accomplish.
