Yamir gave a smile, drawing a red line through one of the essay's sentences. "Well... if you don't mind doing it, I'd be very grateful if you could sort the potion ingredients in the store-cupboard into the order they're in on the list pinned to the back of the door. I was going to do it after marking these, but seeing as you offered... I'll give you fifteen points for Ravenclaw when you've finished. In a few minutes, I should be able to come and help."

She grinned and gave a small leap. "Finally, something new to do!" She laughed a little and went into the store-room, humming as she examined the list. Soon after, she got to work and began putting things in the general area they would be in, moving around with the ease of one who planned to do this later on. All the while she hummed softly, now and then singing in the same undertone.

After a while, Yamir finished marking the last essay, graded it, and then put away his quill and ink. That done, he moved over to the store-cupboard, starting to help Mariah, who had already begun to do a great job of it.

She barely noticed he was in there at first, caught up in the task as she was. Then she remembered something. "Professor, do you mind if I tell my sisters? I'd like you to meet them anyway. Darla and Melissa? They're normally with me and the pack."

"About me?" he asked, reaching up to put a jar of frogs' brains on the top shelf, then gave a small frown, thinking. "I don't think I would mind... they know not to tell anyone else."

She smiled. "I'll garuntee you they won't tell. The Ones wouldn't like it. Neither would I, for that matter. Family secrets are family secrets." She shrugged. "We'll have a meeting soon. Maybe you should come. THe night before the full moon is normally when we're all toghether."

"...Are you sure?" he asked, looking round at her.

She raised an eyebrow and looked at him. "Professor, you should know that I never make an offer without having the will to fulfill. To answer your question: Yes, I'm very sure." She smiled and hummed a little more, waiting for his final answer, though she was pretty sure she knew it.

"Alright," he replied, though was still a little apprehensive. Then nodded. "I will."

She grinned. "Good. We'll be out by the Old Hut, most likely. You might even meet the pack." She shrugged. "It will be the night before the full moon, most likely. That's when we all need someone like ourselves to be with."

Yamir gave a small frown. "Are you sure it's not suspicious... all of us gathering at the Hut at the same time?"

She shrugged slightly. "Professor, think about it. It'll be late, and no one really wants to go out the night before a full moon. We'll be the only ones out there, so don't worry. Besides, the Pack will be watching for intruders anyway."

"I suppose." He gave a small sigh and then stood back to look at the newly arranged store-cupboard. "Well. Fifteen points to Ravenclaw, I think, for helping me," he said with a small smile.

She whirled around and looked at him with one eyebrow raised. However, that small smile made her decide to keep her mouth shut. She gave a small bow to accompany her thanks. "Thank you, Professor. It was my pleasure." She sighed, barely holding back a yawn as her eyes fluttered. "I need to get back to studying, though.... There's supposed to be a big test coming up."

"That's alright - thank you for offering." Yamir gave a soft noise of sympathy when she mentioned the upcoming test. "Which subject is that, then?"
